On January 16, 2014, Omni Cable Corporation (OmniCable) announced the appointment of Dominic J. Pileggi to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Pileggi recently retired as the Chairman of Thomas & Betts Corporation, a position he served in since January 2006. In addition to his Chairman responsibilities, Dominic has held other management positions at Thomas & Betts, including President – Electrical Products (2000 – 2003), Chief Operating Officer (2003 – 2004), and CEO (2004-2012).  Mr. Pileggi also currently serves on the Board of Directors at ViaSystems and Acuity Brands.

Jeff Siegfried, President & Chief Executive Officer of OmniCable, said, “We are fortunate to have Dominic join our Board and lend his experience and knowledge to our business. Dominic’s mentorship will help develop our executive team and add deep insight into the markets that we serve.”  Pileggi has been appointed to serve on Omni Cable’s compensation committee and will serve as Lead Director of its Board.  Pileggi said, “I am really looking forward to serving on the OmniCable Board. I have always admired Omni’s focus on the customer, their innovative service solutions, and their strong, experienced management team.”
