Omni Cable Corporation (OmniCable) is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of NAED’s 2014 Unleashing the Spirit of Innovation award.
OmniCable submitted its Continuous Improvement Team’s Lean/Six Sigma initiative for NAED’s Unleashing the Spirit of Innovation award, which encourages and recognizes a culture of innovation as well as individual efforts throughout the electrical distribution industry. “We’re so fortunate to have bright, creative, and dedicated employee-owners driving these initiatives and making OmniCable best in class,” said Jeff Siegfried, OmniCable’s President & CEO. The award was presented to OmniCable during the NAED National Meeting in April. The company was also featured in tED Magazine’s April 2014 issue for its achievement.
OmniCable’s Continuous Improvement initiative was created to increase the company’s overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. To help guide the initiative, the company formed a Continuous Improvement (CI) Team to establish value in OmniCable’s internal processes from the customer’s perspective. OmniCable’s Stacy Fromhold (left, Marketing) and Tracy Pfizenmayer (right, Sales) are currently leading the team and overall initiative. Their objectives are to identify the needs of customers, understand the company’s business processes, and tailor those processes so they become more valuable to customers.
OmniCable and the CI Team are in the midst of implementing internal operational improvements for their latest project.
