Types of Wire

• Cathodic Protection Cable – Stranded Bare Copper, Soft Drawn, 600 Volt (75°C)
  Conductor – Soft annealed stranded copper per ASTM B-8
  Insulation – Black high molecular weight polyethylene (HMW/PE) per ASTM D-1248 I
  
• TFFN – TFN: 600 Volt (90°C)
  Conductor – Solid or stranded annealed copper
  Insulation – Extruded layer of heat, moisture, and flame resistant PVC with an extrusion of high heat and light stabilized nylon
• THHN – 600 Volt (90°C)
  Conductor – Solid or stranded annealed copper
  Insulation – Extruded layer of heat, moisture, and flame resistant PVC with an extrusion of high heat and
  light stabilized nylon
• THW/THW-2 Green UL – PVC Insulat on, 600 Volt (90°C)
  Conductor – Solid bare copper
  Insulation – Green PVC
• XHHW-2 & XLP/USE-2 or RHH/RHW-2 – 600 Volt (90°C)
  Conductor – Bare annealed copper, Class B stranding
  Insulation – Moisture and flame retardant thermoset crosslinked Polyethylene
• XLP/USE-2 or RHH/RHW-2 – UL Photovoltaic – 600 Volt (90°C), Copper
  Conductor – Stranded bare copper, per ASTM B33 and B8
  Insulation – Moisture and heat resistant cross-linked Polyethylene
